Overview
Romans is a letter to a church Paul has never met, and so he lays out his message from the ground up: everyone is in the same predicament, and God's answer arrives as gift.
Chapters 5–8 move from justification to peace to suffering to the Spirit, ending in one of the great crescendos of Scripture — nothing can separate us.
The final chapters bring it down to earth: how such people actually live together.
