The Peace That Doesn't Make Sense

"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:7

There is a kind of peace the world can manufacture — a peace that depends on circumstances cooperating, on inboxes being empty, on plans going as expected.

And then there is the peace of God. It does not wait for circumstances to cooperate. It does not explain itself. It simply arrives, quietly, and stands guard at the door of the heart.

Today, do not strive to understand it. Just let it in.
