The Secret Place
"When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen."
Matthew 6:6
Jesus assumes you will pray, and assumes the prayer that matters most will be unwitnessed.
The secret place is not a holy room. It is anywhere your heart goes quiet with him — a parked car, a closet, a slow walk at lunch. The architecture is the closed door of attention.
What grows in the secret place does not stay there. The unseen prayer becomes the visible life.
